Dialysis Tech Appreciation Week is here! Be sure to show your appreciation for your techs this week. And give a shout-out to your favorite tech by completing the following statement: “I love my DT because…” or “My DT is awesome because…” and emailing it to us at communications@nwkidney.org. We’ll post them in our clinics and invite patients to share the love!

Welcome our new Chief Nursing Officer


Heather Thomasson recently joined Northwest Kidney Centers as Chief Nursing Officer. Heather has more than 11 years of nursing leadership and most recently oversaw emergency room nursing staff at MultiCare Health Systems’ Auburn and Covington Medical Centers. Welcome to the team, Heather!

Congrats to our scholarship recipients 


Thanks to generous donations from the Jasper Memorial Nurse Scholarship, Boeschoten Foundation and the Employee General Scholarship, 12 Northwest Kidney Centers staff were awarded scholarships in 2023. Through our employee scholarship program, staff can improve their job-related skills, enhance their abilities in their current positions or prepare for advancement to higher-level positions. Congratulations to all the recipients!



The fight to preserve access to life-sustaining care


Northwest Kidney Centers President and CEO Rebecca Fox, joined by CEOs from eight for-profit and non-profit dialysis providers, recently met with the U.S. Domestic Policy Council to advocate for changes that would allow us to better cover treatment costs for our patients.
