Applications Available for Free and Reduced Meal Program
Applications are now available for NISD's Meal Sense, the district's free and reduced-cost meal program. Free and reduced-price school meals are provided to students whose families meet certain income requirements.

Electronic applications are available on the Food Service website, and paper applications can be picked up at the food service office or at any Northwest ISD school.
Apply for Consideration in Leadership NISD

Northwest ISD will soon begin Leadership NISD, an annual program that involves parents and community members in a yearlong dialogue with the school district and its leadership team.

Through the program, members will learn more about the district through an in-depth look behind the scenes. Sessions take place at 8 a.m. one Wednesday each month from September to April. Members are nominated by district principals and administrators, though a waitlist exists for those who receive principal/administrator approval.
