Graduation photos available online
|
Photos from each of Northwest ISD's four graduation ceremonies are now available at the district's Flickr account at www.flickr.com/northwestisd.
Graduation ceremonies were held the first two days of June, with Steele Accelerated High School graduating on June 1 and the district's three comprehensive high schools - Byron Nelson, Eaton and Northwest - graduating on June 2. Photos of each ceremony can be found at the following links:
Please note these are not the professional photos taken on and behind the stage at graduation ceremonies. Students filled out cards with their contact information before graduating, which the company that took professional photos will use to send proofs and ordering information.

High school fine arts programs win accolades at recent awards shows
|
Northwest ISD's three comprehensive high schools each earned at least one award at two recent fine arts competitions, the Betty Lynn Buckley Awards and Dallas Summer Musicals High School Musical Theatre Awards.

Eaton won two acting awards for its "My Fair Lady" performance: Vincent Harrill was named best male actor in a musical, while Lane Norris earned best male supporting actor in a musical. Northwest added to the district's acting honors with Naomi Calloway's win as best female actor in a play for her work in "Peter and the Starcatcher."
At the Dallas Summer Musicals awards, Byron Nelson earned two awards and an honorable mention. For their performance of "The Addams Family," director Wendy Bramlett earned her second consecutive best direction award. Byron Nelson student Zachary Garcia joined Ms. Bramlett in receiving an honor, winning the best supporting actor award. Email addresses from automated district accounts |
Please be aware that the
nisd@nisdtx.org
and
nisdnews@nisdtx.org
email addresses, such as the one used for this message, are primarily used for automated messages and may take time to respond to because of the volume of emails. A district employee will forward any messages to these accounts to the appropriate party if necessary, but emailing these addresses are not automatically sent to specific campuses, as they have to be manually processed.

Online registration for 2018-19 open
|
Online enrollment for all students for the 2018-19 school year is open to all new and returning Northwest ISD students.
As with last year, the
online enrollment process is handled through PowerSchool, which means the majority of information will already be filled out for returning students. Families of returning students should have already received snap codes in their email. These codes and online links arrived separately for each child.
