Homecoming activities scheduled for NISD high schools
Homecoming activities are set for Byron Nelson, Northwest and Eaton as each of our three Northwest ISD comprehensive high schools prepare to host a big varsity football matchup in the coming weeks.

Each high school will host a community pep rally in addition to the homecoming football game, where the king and queen for the school will be crowned. Information can be found on the district website.
Pike student accepted into Fort Worth Youth Orchestra
Pike Middle School seventh-grader Zoe Banis’s hard work has paid off, as she was recently selected to the Junior Strings ensemble for the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra. Only six viola players from the Dallas-Fort Worth area were chosen to participate in the 50-person orchestra.

"My mom and dad encouraged me to practice my viola daily for at least 30 minutes," Zoe said. "If I didn’t take their advice and make that decision every day, I don’t think I would have been selected."
