Northwest ISD's newsletter for families and the community
January 14, 2022
All NISD schools and offices closed through Tuesday
School will resume on Wednesday, January 19
All Northwest ISD campuses will be closed today, Friday, January 14, through Tuesday, January 18, because of a significant staff shortage caused by COVID. No remote learning will take place during these days, as they are full closures. This will not affect NISD's student instructional calendar, as these days will be used similarly to inclement weather days. School will resume on Wednesday, January 19.

For more information, please read Dr. Warren's message to families.

If your student tests positive for COVID during the closure, please be sure to report the test results to Northwest ISD to provide an accurate timeline. Reporting results as they are provided assists the district in ensuring COVID procedures are followed.

Thank you for being patient and assisting us as we strive to keep our students and staff healthy!

"Find it Fast" on the new NISD website
The "Find it Fast" tool on the main menu bar of the updated Northwest ISD website is the quickest way to search and find relevant information. Though the new website features an overhauled design that will make most content easier to find, the new navigation may take time to grow accustomed to. The “Find it Fast” tool will aid in the process of learning where the most important information is housed on the website.

If you experience any bugs or errors, please email nisd@nisdtx.org.
