Three Destination Imagination teams advance to state tournament

Congratulations to Destination Imagination teams from Northwest High School (THAT Better Team), Chisholm Trail Middle School (Hangry Panda Tacos) and Granger Elementary School (Savage Cabbages) for advancing to the state event!

The teams advanced to state, which will take place April 6 and 7, after finishing first in their events at the Fort Worth Regional Tournament in February. Northwest's team advanced in the maze crazy technical challenge, as did Granger's team. Chisholm Trail's team advanced in the improvisational treasure challenge.

Northwest ISD was well-represented at the regional meet, with 64 teams from district schools competing. Destination Imagination provides students with open-ended academic challenges and fosters creativity, curiosity and collaboration.
