Students earn $5.3 million in scholarships
Congratulations to 40 Northwest ISD students who were recognized at the district's annual Fine Arts Breakfast!

The seniors — from all four of the district's high schools — were awarded more than $5.3 million of scholarships, the highest amount ever recorded by the program.
What would 2023 bond referendum fund?
As a part of the 2021 bond, Northwest ISD will open five schools in August to relieve campuses at or over capacity, and we’re still rapidly growing! The 2023 bond would fund 12 new schools to provide relief for schools as they near or surpass their enrollment capacity. Learn more at www.nisdtxbond.org!

Transfer application window open through May 15
Families interested in requesting a campus transfer for their students for the 2023-2024 school year can do so until 5 p.m. Monday, May 15, through an online transfer form. All transfer requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, as each student’s request is unique.

Northwest ISD allows families to request transfers to another campus for the next school year during a window that opens annually on April 1. Transfers requests are subject to the capacity of a campus, as several schools are closed to transfers because they are near or over their designed student enrollment.

Resource Store provides free support to NISD teachers and students
The Northwest ISD Education Foundation's resource store and library provides immediate support to NISD teachers and students through free resources and educational materials. NISD teachers can “shop” for school and classroom supplies, snack packs, clothing items and books. All items are free to district educators!

Since the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, the store has welcomed more than 350 in-person shoppers and received 500+ online order requests. Because of overwhelming needs, we are asking for your help! The store is currently out of pencils and markers. Books of all reading levels are also in high demand. If you feel inclined to help, please visit the store's online wishlist.
