Celebrate Digital Citizenship Awareness With Resources For Parents
While Northwest ISD students are learning about digital citizenship in the classroom, parents can check out the Family Connections Hub for additional resources and ways to talk to your kids about being a good digital citizen.
In the Digital Identity and Reputation lessons, students are encouraged to think about how their online presence affects others and themselves. It's important to be perceived online the same way you are in person, and rules should not change just because a student is behind a screen.
Talk to your kids about what rules they should follow when on a device, and what rules you have as a family to keep each other safe.
