Thanks to the generous support of our community, nearly 1,300 Northwest ISD students in need will have presents this holiday season!
Through the Virtual Angel Tree program, community members were able to adopt one of the 1,229 angels on the tree and shop for their specific angel. Donations were then processed and sorted by volunteers. The gifts were delivered this week to all 30 campuses across the district by the NISD Transportation department and other volunteers.

New Northwest ISD website launching after winter break
Right before students return from winter break, a new Northwest ISD website – and campus websites – will launch at www.nisdtx.org. The new website will feature a significantly improved layout for quicker navigation and a better browsing experience on mobile devices.
While navigation will be improved, we know transitioning to an all-new website will mean people need time to adapt to the new layout. Please be sure to use the “Find it Fast” button at the top of the website for the most popular links across the website, such as grades, bus routes, lunch menus and more. This area will also include a search feature to find information.

Keep logging COVID cases during break
If your student tests positive for COVID during winter break, please be sure to report the test results to Northwest ISD to provide an accurate timeline. Reporting results as they are provided assists the district in ensuring COVID procedures are followed, while reporting cases only when school is about to resume can provide inaccurate data.
Positive COVID cases in Northwest ISD schools have significantly decreased since the start of the school year because of the dedication to following district procedures fighting the pandemic. Thank you for assisting us as we keep students and staff healthy!
