News from the Art Room

Sixth, seventh, and eighth graders have completed their clay projects.

Fourth grade completed their zentangle letters.

Third grade completed their line and shape cacti.

Fifth Grade completed their collaborative project with the 5th grade team to create imaginary friends based off their ELA Assignment. They read and discussed the book "The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend" and were tasked with creating and writing a story about their own imaginary friend. In Art they used class time to create a visual of themselves with their imaginary friend they created. 

Trunk or Treat

It was more treats than tricks for this crew at Trunk or Treat on Saturday!

News from Kindergarten

The kindergarteners had a visit from the fire department this week. The kids told the fire fighters all that they learned during our safety unit in October. They were encouraged to practice having fire drills at home with their families and knowing two ways out if there is a fire.

Caregiver Collaboration Nights

We'll be moving to an online format for the Caregiver Collaboration Nights scheduled for November and December.  Please see the updated flyer below.  Also included is a handout from the October session that guides parents in how to recognize a safe fail opportunity to build resilience.

November 16 - School Board meeting, 6:30 

November 23 - Early release, 12:30

November 24-25 - Thanksgiving break
