Field Day

Field Day will be held on May 30 (rain date of June 6). Please see the flyer for class colors and what to bring.

Lunch order forms were sent home last week. Please return them by Wednesday, 5/28. Thanks!

We’re Not Done Yet!

It’s the official unofficial beginning of summer weekend and boy are we busy! Be sure to check out all of our events from field day to concerts to awards and recognition ceremonies sprinkled between now and our official start to summer break on June 23.

As we approach the final stretch of the school year, standardized testing like SAS and NWEA is nearly complete. These assessments help us understand student growth and guide our planning, but they don’t signal the end of learning!

We still have a full month of meaningful instruction, exploration, and classroom activities ahead. Teachers are continuing to introduce new concepts, reinforce key skills, and engage students through creative projects, discussions, and hands-on learning.

Your support at home—by keeping routines consistent, encouraging effort, and celebrating progress—helps students stay motivated and focused as we finish the year strong. This is especially true for our older students as they are working on long-term assignments and projects that may require more frequent reminders to make sure the tasks are completed.

Have a wonderful weekend!

News from Kindergarten

The “little” teachers in Mrs. Magnusson’s class did a great job! We learned about snowmobile safety, how to sew, make slime, and play math bingo. We are so proud of you!

Northwood School Literary Magazine

Ms. Carloni is now accepting submissions for the spring literary magazine. Students may submit original poems, stories, essays, or other writing. Email Ms. Carloni (jcarloni@northwood.k12.nh.us) with any questions!

Exciting news! The 8th grade class is selling our exclusive Laker Monster Pride Croc Jibbitz to help support our upcoming class trip. Order forms were sent home and are also available in the office. Thank you for your support!
