Chef Chris Wants To Make Your Student(s) Breakfast And Lunch!
Breakfast and lunch are free for all students for the duration of remote learning. If you would like to sign up, please email Chef Chris ([email protected]) and let him know if you'd prefer to pick up at school or have the meals delivered to a bus stop.
           Kind Acts of Northwood Students

I asked students in grades 1-4 to do some kind acts for the people helping them
learn at home. I also asked students to do something kind for themselves, since
they have been working so hard. Here are a few of the acts. Keep sending those
pictures in. If you didn’t get to see the assignment, here’s the link , and any student
is welcome to participate. Keep sending me those pictures!

Talking to Children about COVID-19
The Coronavirus Pandemic is a difficult topic for parents to explain to any child, perhaps even more so when the child has Autism Spectrum Disorder or other special needs. Many children process information in a concrete manner, prefer established routines, and need support to understand and interpret emotions. The  I Have a Question about Coronavirus Book   (click picture for link) provides a straightforward resource that takes these considerations into account and seeks to cover the wide range of questions that emerge as children (and adults) grapple with this global emergency.
