Happy New Year!

Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season and enjoyed some extra time with friends and family. Students have begun to settle back into the school routine during this very short two day week. Part of that routine is going outside for recess. Now that we are consistently experiencing colder temperatures, we want to remind you that all students, pre-k through eighth grade, should come to school with appropriate winter gear. Whether it's recess, outdoor learning, or simply a chance to breathe in the crisp winter air during a movement break, time outside is an important part of our day—even in these colder months!

To ensure your child stays warm, comfortable, and ready to enjoy these outdoor moments, please make sure they come to school dressed for the winter weather. Proper attire ensures they can fully enjoy these experiences while staying warm and dry.

Thank you for helping us make the most of this beautiful season. If you have any questions or need assistance securing winter gear, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, Ms. MacDonald, or Ms. Aucella.

Have a wonderful weekend!

~ Jocelyn
