Farewell to Ms. Helton
Joyce Helton is leaving Northwood School to move on to a new adventure. We wish her the best of luck in her new position! Please welcome Alex Tritto as the new administrative assistant in the office.
Winter Vacation Hours
During vacation, the main office will be open on December 26 and 27 from 8:00 - 3:00. If you see any items in the pictures below that look familiar, feel free to stop in on one of those days to look through lost and found items before we donate them on December 30.

WINTER vacation can be a time for new explorations. Consider these ideas while students are away from Northwood School. 

W alk outside (nordic ski or snowshoe) 

I nvestigate Northwood’s history (online or talk to your neighbors)

N urture your creativity
Create a project using Scratch .

Create a picture with Pixel Art .

Type thank-you notes after practicing your keyboarding skills .

Create a Google Slide presentation that includes family photos and descriptions.  

T ype Code (at home or at the library)
Hour of Code activities

E njoy a museum (in person or virtually)

R ead a book (in print or online)

Kindergarten News
Mrs. Magnusson’s Kindergarteners were very excited to read with their fourth grade book buddies this week!
They also performed Jingle Bells for audiences throughout the school!
