Memorial Day

With Memorial Day on Monday, May 25th, it is important to remember those who gave their lives for our country. As Martin Luther King Jr. said, “ In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” Even though we sit immersed in a pandemic, we are still able to have certain liberties bestowed to us due to brave men and women who served. While enjoying nice weather with your family this weekend, please remember the meaning of Memorial Day. I’ll include some links to access information about Memorial Day and email addresses of those Northwood School staff members who have served our country, in case you want to send them a nice email.

Eighth Grade Graduation
Thursday, June 4 will be the date of our eighth grade graduation. While it will look different this year, it will still be fun!
From 3:00 - 4:30, fire, police, buses, and staff vehicles will parade through town past (or at least near) eighth graders' homes. Other families are welcome to view from your yards and cheer on the graduates!
Beginning at 5:30, we will have a parking lot drive-through celebration and distribution of diplomas, awards, and gifts for graduates. Please note this event is restricted to eighth grade families, seventh grade marshals and ushers, and Northwood School staff.
