Employee Spotlight - Amanda W.
Amanda has been with Northwoods for almost two years. She got started with Northwoods due to her previous job closing and wanting a change in her career path. She started looking for jobs in the area and Northwoods was hiring. Amanda has been an MSR at Northwoods Stanley Avenue location in Cloquet for most of the time she has been with the credit union. Amanda stated that coming to Northwoods not only as an employee but also as a member was “The best decision ever.”
When asked what her day entails as an MSR she had this to say: “Some days can get very hectic, but our priority is helping our members, and along with servicing our members there is some background work as well, from balancing the ATMs to scanning documents in.”
For Amanda, being able to recognize members when they walk through the door is very important. Getting to know our members on a personal level and creating a strong connection with them is one of her top priorities. She tries to make strong connections with our members by showing them she is reliable, helpful, and trustworthy.
“Amanda is such a great asset to the team at Stanley Ave. She is quick thinking, very knowledgeable, and has great rapport with our members!" says Krystal Buscko, Stanley Avenue MSR Supervisor.
Amanda’s favorite saying she would like to share with members is: “Live your life to the fullest while you still have life to live.”
When not at work, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with family at their cabin, if not at the cabin, then you can usually find her at home relaxing and watching movies.
