Heather’s recovery is moving a bit slower than she hoped, but she remains hopeful that her staples will be removed this week and is trusting God’s timing.
She has begun physiotherapy and is very grateful for all the prayers, cards, and kind messages.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Seeking Nominations.......
The Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for the role of Vice Chair of the Executive Team.
The Vice Chair will serve for 1-2 years, and then take on the role of Chair of the Executive Team for 2 years when the current chair ends their term. The Vice Chair is responsible for ensuring effective and responsible communication within Norval United Church and to the surrounding community.
This position will begin after our next annual general meeting (i.e. March 2026). The nominating committee will receive nominations between now and mid-January 2026. If you would like to nominate a member of Norval United Church to serve as Vice Chair of the Executive Team, or have any questions, please reach out to Jan Arnold here, the chair of the nominating committee.

Beat the February Blahs!
The Friendship Group will gather at The Club at North Halton (363 Maple Avenue, Georgetown) on Tuesday, Feb. 10th at 12:00pm for a Valentine's Day luncheon.
We will be enjoying a plated meal of roast turkey, potatoes, vegetables and a chocolate brownie for dessert, along with tea and coffee. Price per person is $38, including tax and gratuity, payable at the club. Please feel free to invite a friend to this event.

Thursday mornings @ 9:30
A bunch of guys meet at the church each week to watch videos, ask big questions and work to find answers. They've also enjoyed having various guest speakers attend. Anyone is welcome to join.
