Sunday January 29th

The Sermon on the Mount starts with the Beatitudes. Jesus' list of a number of people who he says are blessed is a different list than a lot of people would make today. We're suggesting that the Beatitudes don't tell us what to do to be blessed, they tell us that we are blessed as we are.

We just have to BE who we are.

Can You Help?

We have signed a contract with Guelph Solar to install solar panels on the church.  Solar energy is better for the environment and it is better for the church bank account. It is estimated we will save up to $10,000 a year in hydro costs.  The panels will cost more than $100,000 for purchase and installation.  Are you able to help with a special donation for this project? Thank you for helping us to care for the environment and reduce our future hydro costs!

It is the 56th Anniversary and we owe John and Jennine Ditz many thanks for their amazing leadership for the past four years.

Usually held the last Saturday in May, we have used various locations over the years.. Our new church building has hosted with curbside pickup so far.

Anyone is interested in working with our dedicated team on the Chicken BBQ for 2023, or has any questions, Jan Arnold would love to hear from you.

Volunteers needed!

For many of us, Norval United Church’s warm welcome is one of the main reasons we came back after our first visit.

You can help carry on this fine tradition!

Join Jen Stinson and George Smith as we live out our faith in God’s radical hospitality by welcoming all who attend on Sunday.

If you can smile and say “welcome” you are qualified! Volunteer 1, 2 (or more!) Sundays a month on this great team! Or if you prefer short term commitment why not help out during Lent/Easter?
