Welcome Back Sunday • September 13

Join us for worship at 9:00 a.m. online or 10:00 a.m. in person. We will celebrate the beginning of a new school year with a special Back-to-School Blessing in both of our services that morning. At 10:00 a.m., children and youth are invited to bring their backpacks for the blessing.

Following our 9:00 a.m. worship service, members of our online community are invited to gather on Zoom at 9:50 a.m. for a virtual coffee time to connect and chat together. Please join host Cheryl Mees at the following link:

Following our 10:00 a.m. worship service, everyone is invited to stay for a delicious BBQ, outdoor games, and community.

We hope you'll mark your calendar now.

We look forward to celebrating with you in September!

I plan to be in the church offices on Tuesdays, and Thursdays each week along with Youth activities on other days and of course on Sundays. 

Please come and have a look as well at the Youth Room at Norval on Sunday and say hi as we are revamping the Youth room a bit and would love to see what you think !

We’re excited to start up movie night again in September!

We’ll be showing the movie Mitchells vs Machines (2021). Pizza and snacks will be provided—

please let us know if you plan to attend so we can make sure we have enough for everyone.

Love to Sing? Love Music? Come Make Some Music With Us!

Do you love to sing? Enjoy making music with others? Or maybe you’re simply curious about what it might be like to be part of a fun and welcoming musical group at Norval?

This fall, our Music Director, Alan Forde, is bringing together a new Praise and Music Group! The idea is simple: gather together, explore some fun music, enjoy singing with others, and perhaps even teach the congregation a new song or two along the way.

Interested? Come and see what it’s all about! Meet with Alan and others following the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, September 20th, to learn more and make some plans for the fall.

Whether you’ve been singing for years or simply love music and would like to give it a try, we’d love to have you join us. Everyone is welcome!

Walking Through Grief – Fall Support Group

Norval United Church will once again be offering Walking Through Grief, an eight-week peer support group for those journeying through grief and loss.

Offered in partnership with Jones Funeral Home, Walking Through Grief provides a supportive and confidential space to connect with others who understand something of the experience of loss.

Sunday Mornings @ 9:15

The prayer group meets every Sunday morning before the service. Anyone is welcome to join in prayer for individuals, our church and the world.
