Sunday, December 14th
This Sunday at Norval, we lean into the promise of joy. In the gospel of Luke, we hear Mary’s song, an ancient hymn of hope, justice, and praise rising from the heart of a young woman who dares to trust in God’s dream for the world. Her voice echoes through time, inviting us to prepare the way for joy even in uncertain days.
Join us in worship as we reflect on the power of music, the gift of community, and the joy that bubbles up when we sing, serve, and open ourselves to love.
All are welcome.

Calling All Shepherds, Angels, and Wise Ones! An Invitation to Families
Join Rev. Ruth and Rev. Heather as we prepare to tell the Christmas story together at our Family Christmas Eve service at 4:00 p.m. We would love for your children and youth to take part.
This year’s celebration will be simple, joyful, and does not require rehearsals. Just come and join in the fun. There is space for every child and youth to participate in a way that feels just right for them.
We will also be honouring some of our most beloved Christmas Eve traditions, such as lighting candles and singing Silent Night, as we celebrate the wonder of Christmas together.
To learn more or to get involved, please reach out to Rev. Ruth at revyren06@gmail.com or Rev. Heather at heather@norvalunited.ca

The Giving Tree!
This year we will be collecting socks, winter hats, mitts and scarves, non-perishable food items, toiletries and gift cards for our Giving Tree. Items collected will be donated to Out of the Cold - Georgetown, Halton Women's Place, the Georgetown Break Basket and Food for Life. Items can be dropped off anytime starting November 30th.
A special celebration and blessing of the Giving Tree will take place on December 14th but items will be received until after Christmas Eve.
If you live at a distance from Norval and would like to support our Giving Tree this season, please send a donation to NUC through our regular channels, with a memo "Giving Tree". We will use those funds to fill in the gaps.
