Rev. Brenna Baker will lead worship this Sunday. We’ll join with other Christians from across the country in giving thanks for God’s good Creation and praying for meaningful action to be taken for climate justice.

Following a consultation with her surgeon late last week, Heather’s return timeline has been slightly adjusted, and she will now be returning the week of May 4. We continue to hold her in care as she focuses on healing and preparing for her return to ministry.

We are grateful to all who have offered leadership in worship and in the life of the community during this time, with special thanks to Rev. Ruth Noble for her care and support as Pastoral Charge Supervisor.

As Heather returns, we invite the community to support a gradual re-entry by allowing space for her to reconnect and ease back into ministry.

Heather looks forward to being back with you soon and to sharing in the life and ministry of the Norval community once again.

Seeking Nominations.......

The Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for the role of Vice Chair of the Executive Team.

The Vice Chair will serve for 1-2 years and then take on the role of Chair of the Executive Team for 2 years when the current chair ends their term. The Vice Chair is responsible for ensuring effective and responsible communication within Norval United Church and to the surrounding community.

Eastertide Online Small Group Study - While It Was Still Dark

Easter is not just a day. It is the stretch of fifty days that begins Resurrection Sunday and lasts until Pentecost.

This is the season of practicing hope… even when hope doesn’t seem easy to come by. We'll look at this with Kate Bowler's Study offering.

STONE SOUP

Join us on Sunday, April 26th - 12:00 to 2:00pm, making over 120 servings of homemade soup for Food for Life while having fun. No special skills required.

Friendship Group

We meet every second Tuesday of the month from 1:00-3:00pm in the sanctuary for thoughtful chats and fellowship.

Guyz Group

Thursday mornings @ 9:30

A bunch of guys meet at the church each week to watch videos, ask big questions and work to find answers. They've also enjoyed having various guest speakers attend. Anyone is welcome to join.

The prayer group meets every Sunday morning before the service. Anyone is welcome to join in prayer for individuals, our church and the world.
