Sunday, May 11th

This Sunday, we’ll explore Love Without Limits as a way to honour the many people who offer care, strength, and nurture in our lives. Through story, song, and prayer, we’ll reflect on the love that shapes us. As we mark Mother's Day and Christian Family Sunday, we hold space for the many experiences this day brings—gratitude and grief, joy and complexity, longing and love.

With Psalm 23 as our companion, we’ll reflect on the love that sustains us through life’s valleys and the transformative, boundless care we’re called to share with one another. Join us for this meaningful service that welcomes all with compassion, celebrates family in its many forms, and reminds us of the sacred power of love.

Supporting Heartache2Hope and Walk 2 Remember

We are grateful to NUC member Terry Hope for sharing a meaningful video highlighting his journey with Heartache2Hope (https://heartache2hope.com/) an organization offering compassionate support to those grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide in Halton and surrounding communities. After first attending their grief groups, Terry completed peer support training and now helps others navigate this difficult journey.

The video shares part of Terry’s story and promotes Heartache2Hope’s annual Walk 2 Remember fundraiser on June 14th, supporting this vital work.

Watch the video and learn more here: https://mindfloodmedia.pixieset.com/heartache2hope/

We give thanks for Terry’s courage and for the hope he helps to foster in our wider community.

Thanks to strong planning & community support, 100 Georgetown walkers have raised over $29,000 to-date for the Townsend Smith Foundation—with U4H teams from Hillcrest, Norval, St. Andrew’s, St. John’s, and the wider community contributing $17,895 so far.

But we’re not done! Donations remain open until May 17—help us reach even higher: 👉 https://www.canadahelps.org/s/6WqJK3
