Sunday, June 22nd

What does it mean to have faith when belief doesn’t come easily? This Sunday, we explore a faith that begins with trust, a faith rooted in mystery, shaped by experience, and held by grace.

In a world that often demands certainty, how do we live with questions, hold hope, and keep going?

Join us as we reflect on an ancient text and the God who meets us in every step of the journey. All are welcome, in your doubts, your hope, and your longing for something real.

Join us Online for Worship @ 9:00AM

Celebrating 100 Years of The United Church of Canada

On Sunday, June 8, 2025, we gathered as the four Georgetown United Churches at NUC to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of The United Church of Canada.

It was a wonderful celebration and thank you to all who participated, helped, and joined us in-person or online! Click here to read more and see lots of great photos from this day.

A Banner of Hope: A Lasting Gift from Lent 2025

During the season of Lent 2025, the Norval community was invited to reflect on where we have found hope along life’s journey. Each week, fabric strips were placed on the cross in our sanctuary, some with words written on them, others placed in quiet prayer, as we created a tapestry of shared hope, both in person and online.

Now, those offerings have been lovingly transformed into a beautiful banner by Fay Baxter and Maria Tarantino. We are deeply grateful to Fay and Maria for sharing their gifts so generously and for creating a lasting reminder of the hope we discovered together during that sacred season.

Rooted in our theme Hope for the Journey, this banner now hangs in our sanctuary as a visual reminder that we do not travel alone—hope is always being woven among us.

We’re pleased to share a photo so that all, whether near or far, can witness this visible sign of our community’s faith, creativity, and connection.

Where have you found hope lately?

Heartache2Hope Walk Update

Earlier this month, NUC member Terry Hope shared a powerful video and heartfelt reflections on this year’s Heartache2Hope Walk.

As Terry noted in worship on Sunday, the event brought together 380 registered walkers and volunteers and has already raised over $140,000 in support of the organization. So far in 2025, Heartache2Hope has had 330 people reach out for support.

We give thanks for this vital work, which offers compassion and care to those navigating profound loss.

We’re especially grateful to Terry for the care and dedication he brings to this organization and to all who took part and supported the walk.
