Sunday, May 18th
You are invited to worship with us this Sunday as we reflect on the words Jesus spoke to his friends: “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.”
In a world often divided, we gather to remember the simple, transformative call to love—deeply, generously, and without condition. Through music, prayer, reflection, and community, we will explore what it means to live this love in our time.
Whether you join us online or in person, there is a place for you here.

Supporting Heartache2Hope and Walk 2 Remember
We are grateful to NUC member Terry Hope for sharing a meaningful video highlighting his journey with Heartache2Hope (https://heartache2hope.com/) — an organization offering compassionate support to those grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide in Halton and surrounding communities. After first attending their grief groups, Terry completed peer support training and now helps others navigate this difficult journey.
The video shares part of Terry’s story and promotes Heartache2Hope’s annual Walk 2 Remember fundraiser on June 14th, supporting this vital work.
Watch the video and learn more here: https://mindfloodmedia.pixieset.com/heartache2hope/
We give thanks for Terry’s courage and for the hope he helps to foster in our wider community.

Thank you for supporting the Hike for Hospice
The members of our UNITED4HOSPICE (U4H) team would like to thank those who supported our team and helped us make this year's Georgetown Hike for Hospice a success. We were blessed with many generous donors and willing volunteers. Your support of this 4 congregation outreach project is greatly appreciated.
The three hikes held on May 3 in Acton, Georgetown and Milton have raised $59,400 for the Townsend Smith Foundation. The $60,000 mark is in sight, and you can still help by making a donation online up until May 17 using our team link https://www.canadahelps.org/s/6WqJK3
All the funds raised from the hike will be directed to the building of North Halton’s first hospice residence. Thank you for the support!
