A Message from Norwalk's Workforce Development Coordinator
Governor's Workforce Council Update

The Governor's Workforce Council has been tasked with setting strategy and policy for the state's Pre-K through retirement workforce pipeline, and to serve as the prime coordinator for businesses, educators, trainers, state agencies, state workforce boards, non-profits, and others. On July 20th, they held their Governor’s Workforce Council Quarterly Meeting. Click the video to watch the latest meeting.
Norwalk Workforce Development Referral Resource Guide
As part of a Norwalk Workforce Development Committee Initiative, the City of Norwalk has launched the Norwalk Workforce Development Referral Resource Guide in partnership with Norwalk ACTS.

This dashboard is a tool for case managers and Norwalk residents to identify and learn about opportunities, resources, and get direct program points of contact information. The guide includes detailed information for over 45 opportunities!

Right now, we are focused on ensuring that provider staff and case managers are trained in how to use the tool to support Norwalk clients. The City’s family navigators are now trained in how to use this resource through the Community Resource Hub.
