Happy Black History Month! We want to acknowledge and celebrate all the contributions African-Americans have made throughout our history, and especially to the Norwalk community.

We are excited to announce the first Norwalk Workforce Development Quarterly Meeting that will be held on March 1, 2023 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. We invite all members of the community to join us as we share updates on our local workforce development efforts, share opportunities in the pipeline, and feature new workforce development programs.

CareerConneCT
CareerConneCT is a program that offers skilling, re-skilling, and up-skilling in growing industries. It offers certificate training programs and industry recognized credentials in as little as 5-12 weeks and gets connected with employers ready to hire. Programs in industries such as: Manufacturing, Information Technology (IT), Infrastructure Construction, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Transportation (CDL), Green Jobs and Business Services.


Job seekers can now access an online intake portal to be connected to re-skilling, up-skilling, or next-skilling opportunities, along with a continuously-growing list of training programs.
