RESOURCES & FUNDING
The Manufacturing Innovation Fund (MIF) Apprenticeship Program
The Manufacturing Innovation Fund (MIF) Apprenticeship Program supports a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction for apprentices in Connecticut’s manufacturing industry. Applicants may seek assistance in the form of a matching grant for wage subsidies, tuition reimbursement and competency testing. Funds do not need to be repaid, provided the applicant meets the deliverables and complies with the terms and conditions of the agreement.
Connecticut’s JobsCT Tax Credit
JobsCT Tax Credit Program is a rebate program designed to provide refundable tax credits for companies in targeted industries that are increasing their workforce in Connecticut.

This new program replaces the JobsCT grant program formerly offered by the Connecticut Department of Economic Community Development and is a way to incentivize companies with credits against future tax revenue, rather than grants underwritten by bonds that are repaid with interest.

The new program, enacted by the General Assembly and is applicable to taxable years commencing on or after Jan. 1, 2023.
