WHAT I AM...

DANISH SUMMER

The Danish summer is fickle and elusive, so when it shows up, every Dane is obligated by birth to embrace it with all that entails; strawberries and cream, new potatoes, lots of beer, barbequing, beach-bathing, soccer-watching, ice cream cones, and sunburns. This year is, of course, extra special because we are coming out of hiding and are a bit out of practice, but I am enjoying catching up!
