SPIRE's Generosity Sets Up JP4 Foundation to Pay It Forward

Earlier this year, SPIRE Credit Union chose the JP4 Foundation as a recipient to receive part of a $250,000 donation aimed at providing aid for local organizations during the pandemic. 
Each of SPIRE's 20 branches, administrative departments, senior management team, Board of Directors, and supervisory committee were asked to decide which businesses and organizations should receive donations as part of the SPIRE Gives Big initiative. Every one of SPIRE's 300 employees helped select organizations that were important to them and their local community to receive the $250,000.

Join Our Lineup and Make Double the Impact!

Thursday, November 19th marks Minnesota's favorite Giving Holiday - Give to the Max Day - a day set aside for nonprofit organizations to share their stories and raise funds for their upcoming year of work.

This year we intend to amp up our giving with Donor Power Hour.

Thirteen families, organizations, and businesses will be invited to be featured as the Donor of the Hour by providing up to a $500 match for all money raised during their one-hour period between 8AM-9PM. 

If all matches are met in full, more than $13,000 will be raised for the JP4 Foundation!

An email highlighting all donors will be shared prior to the 19th, and at the beginning, middle, and end of the day. During your hour, social media posts will go out featuring your family or business' $500 match.

Drum Roll Please - Holiday Party Teaser

A fan favorite and staple fundraiser for the JP4 Foundation - the Camps for Kids Holiday Party will be taking place this year! We are working our best to be as creative as possible while putting COVID concerns as the highest priority. 

Not having this party means no summer programming in 2021. Not having this party means kids around the Twin Cities losing out on the opportunity for a summer filled with healthy meals, healthy relationships, and healthy activities. We will be having a party! Even if it has to look a little different...

So, mark your calendar. Prepare to bundle up. And get ready to have fun and raise some money. We promise we will not disappoint! 
Holiday Party Committee

We are currently seeking five volunteers to join our 'Holiday Party Committee'. Committee members will help plan, organize, and execute this year's Camps for Kids Holiday Party. Committee members come in all ages, shapes, sizes, cities, talents, and backgrounds.

Committee Member Responsibilities
  • Attend scheduled meetings (1 or 2 a month)
  • Help promote event
  • Help decorate
  • Market and promote ticket sales
  • Secure silent auction items
  • Secure other donations

Welcome to our Newest Board Member!

Bart Wolkerstorfer joined Land O'Lakes, Inc. in 1998 and has held various positions throughout his tenure with the company. He's currently a sales and marketing director for their feed additives business. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and an MBA in Marketing from St. Mary's University, in Winona, MN. 

Bart and his wife, Jodi, reside in Shoreview, MN. They have a daughter (Lauren) and a son (Jake). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and working on projects at their lake property in northern Minnesota.
