Welcome to all my new subscribers and my 5000 loyal readers who have been with me for the past 20 years.

Not feeling “it” right now? It’s OK to Down Tools and Take Stock. Permission to goof off, granted

Hello Carole Ann,

You know how it is? In a world where we are urged to do more, be more, eat less and have more there comes a time when we have to call it quits. To quit trying, to not fit in and striving, diving and living seems to be such hard work.

Allow me to invite you to give yourself a break. It’s OK to let it go, you know, and here are some other allowances I suggest you make yourself while you are at it.

It’s OK To Not...

  • It’s OK to not have nailed a signature dish
  • It’s OK to not enjoy musical theatre (you are not in the minority)
  • It’s OK to not be “feeling it” about, well, a lot of things right now
  • It’s OK to not get the “Taylor Swift” thing
  • It’s OK to never being able to conquer those last 8 lbs
  • It’s OK that sushi leaves you cold
  • It’s OK to go with the flow (but it’s not OK if you’re unhappy where you end up)
  • It’s OK to not know
  • It’s OK to say “no” without an explanation
  • It’s OK that sometimes it just is what it is
  • It’s OK to duck out
  • It’s OK to still be trying to find your thing, your passion, your purpose
  • It’s OK that Richard Curtis films give you the ick
  • It’s OK to give yourself a break from worrying
  • It’s OK to give yourself permission to not prove anything
  • It’s OK to drop competitive weekending in favour of duvet diving
  • It’s OK to be scared (spoiler alert – we are a bit and often)
  • It’s OK to switch off your phone and stop doom scrolling social media
  • It’s OK to stop comparing you and your life to other people’s
  • It’s OK to start focusing on what’s good for you
  • It's OK to be scared - we all are
  • It’s OK to not be in control
  • It’s OK to have had enough of the BS
  • It’s OK to absquatulate (go on I dare you!)
  • It’s OK to have had enough of the status quo
  • It’s OK to not be OK

It’s OK to want more and OK to action it now by booking that free discovery call with me now – do it here.
