A Note from Scott and Marsha
August 8, 2019
This guy. If you only shop our garden center and have not had a landscape design and install done, you are missing out.

Why you ask? If you follow us on Instagram and see our stories posted by the lovely Amanda, I highjacked it last week. I was cleaning my office and desk because it simply looked like a bomb had gone off and I could not take it anymore. Anyone else have those moments? It was bad.

I’m by the window and I hear Jack, our Landscape Operations Manager, walk out and low and behold, he hops on our little yellow beach cruiser bike with its adorable little basket and bell. Off he goes down the long driveway meandering back and forth. I don’t think he was prepared to actually pedal because there aren’t gears and it looked like his struggle was real. I just laughed as I watched and thought, “Not too proud to ride the yellow bike!” I knew I had to capture this when he returned, and he was so embarrassed! It was adorable.

So if you happen to see Jack handling an install with our amazing crews, working on a piece of equipment or happen to run into this super sweet guy at the Garden Center, give him a high five for his humility! He is pretty amazing along with our amazing inventory of green we have!! See you soon!
Tropical Tuesday is every Tuesday in July and August! Tropical Tuesday is the perfect opportunity to fill your home with houseplants for less! All of our houseplants are 10% OFF every Tuesday in July and August.
Fiddle Leaf Fig is Judy's pick of the week. While this beautiful plant can be more of a challenge to grow than some, you will find they are worth it. Fiddle Leaf Figs like to have bright, indirect light and a location away from drafts. Water it once the soil is dry and make sure that it is able to drain adequately. We have a variety of sizes to choose from!
If you love the fringe-flower look of Loropetalum, the 'Night Moves' variety will have you doing jazz hands! This variegated beauty blooms white flowers in spring instead of pink or red. The variegated foliage is evergreen and really unique looking. If you don't like to stray from the norm, no worries, we also have 'Crimson Fire' Loropetalum arriving!
Welcome the colors of Fall with this gorgeous perennial. Arriving this Friday, Echibeckia is a beautiful hybrid of the Blackeyed Susan and Echinacea (Cone Flower). The vibrant, large blooms are beautiful in your garden or in a bouquet. Plant now to enjoy these special flowers through the fall. Since Echibeckia is a perennial, it should come back next year as well.

Come learn about a garden or plant-related topic, create a themed craft, enjoy a snack and a walk around the Garden Center.
