  • Men's Bible Study at 9:30 a.m.
  • Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.
  • Worship at 11:00 a.m.

The scripture for Sunday is Jeremiah 29:1, 4-7 , the prophet's letter to the exiles in Babylon wherein he counsels them to "build houses . . . plant gardens . . . and seek the welfare of the city."

String Concert Sunday Afternoon
We are pleased to host a concert in the sanctuary this Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. by the South Hill Music Club featuring music from Sophia and Ava Crowder.

Sophia (14) and Ava (10) are both students at Kenston Forest School, Sophie in the 9th grade and Ava in 5th. Sophia has been playing the violin since she was 6; and, although Ava first studied classical harp with Leigh Stringfellow, in 2017 she switched to the cello. Both sisters now study at Duke University String School.

Please join us for what will undoubtedly be a delightful afternoon of music!

Advent is Just Around the Corner
And that means it's time to be thinking about the Advent Booklet!

We will be compiling the Advent Booklet in about a month, and so we ask you all to start thinking about what you may wish to write. Short essays, meaningful poems or lyrics, and artwork are all wonderful items for CPC’s Advent Devotional Booklet. Please contact Jill Allen with any questions. More details to come!
