Cycle of Prayer
In our Parish Cycle of Prayer, we pray for our clergy: Brendan, Christine, Jim, and Ken. We also pray for the St. Francis Book Group and the households of Judy Schneider, Reverend Jim and Diane Schoenrock, Bruce and Mary Ann Schroeder and Noel Schroeder.

Second Quarter Giving Statements
Members of the Finance Committee will be handing out sealed envelopes with the second quarterly statements for 2019 after both services on Sunday, July 14 . If you have given to St. Francis in 2019, please stop and pick up your envelopes. Thank you, Joyce Campbell, Traci Cronkrite, Dale Rushton, Sandi Thompson, Betsy Yacob.

Adult Formation
Adult Formation WILL meet on July 14.
Please join us on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am for conversations about the lessons for Sundays in July. Please bring a bulletin or Bible with you or grab a Bible from the library. We’ll hope for coffee and goodies from our 8:00 am - worshiping friends - they deliver!

Our Office Manager will be on vacation from Wednesday, July 17 through Wednesday, July 24

This summer, you’re also invited to come to Woodburn on Thursday evenings, July 18, July 25, and August 1 for relaxation and conversations about the Psalms! We’ll sit in the garden (or in the living room if it’s hot!), have refreshments and just enjoy each other’s company. The nights will be warm and light, the citronella candles will be burning, and you will be most welcome! Come to 8343 Carson Ct. (97071) at 7:00 pm and stay as long as you like. The lawn chairs and refreshments (and William Countryman’s Conversations with Scripture: The Psalms ) will be waiting for you. If you’d like to have your own book, it’s available on www.amazon.com and www.churchpublishing.com .

Parish Grounds Workday, Saturday, July 20 starting at 9:00 am .
Wear gloves and bring saws, chain saws and pruners if you can. If you have a pickup truck and/or trailer to haul away debris, please contact Betsy Yacob, 503-682-3059.

Arlene Weekly's memorial service will be Thursday, July 25 at 11:00 am, with a reception following.

We will celebrate 40 years as a parish on Sunday, September 29, 2019

Book Group
Will NOT meet on Thursday, July 25, 10:00 am
The Book Group is reading the Book of Joy - Lasting Happiness in a Changing World by the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu and Douglas Abrams. We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays each month. Come join us on the second and fourth Thursday mornings at 10:00 am in the Parish Hall Conference Room.

Wilsonville Community Food Bank
The Wilsonville Food Bank has requested that we concentrate on selected food items: cereal, peanut butter and fresh fruit. Please bring your donated food items and place them in the small grocery cart is in the narthex near the new information desk. A cash donation box will also be in the grocery cart for those who would like to donate money or write a check.
