DANCING OF THE LADIES
Virtual Event
Dancing of the Ladies
If you weren't able to join us live on Facebook for The Dancing of the Ladies, you can visit our Facebook page to see the video. As always, it was so fun to watch them run and jump in the field speckled with dandelions. We thank everyone who tuned in live to help us celebrate this day as we missed having people join us here at the farm. The cows will be grazing all season and we have some young heifers in the field by the Learning Center so you can visit the cows while our barns still remains closed to the public. This summer we are starting a new prject with Stonyfield and OpenSource to monitor the impact our grazing has on carbon sequestration and carbon footprint in general. We will be posting throughout the summer to share this work with you!

Regeneration international
New National Podcast Series Features Stonewall Farm
PODCAST
In Febuary Stonewall Farm's Executive Director was interviewed for Regeneration International's Farmer's and Rancher's for a Green New Deal Podcast series. The U.S. Farmers & Ranchers for a Green New Deal national coalition views the Green New Deal not as a partisan political initiative, but as a framework for transformational policy reform, across all sectors of the U.S. food and farming system.
The coalition supports policy reforms that expand economic opportunities for farmers and ranchers whose practices and businesses:
  • combat climate change by reducing emissions and drawing down and sequestering carbon
  • contribute to a clean environment and restore natural habitats
  • provide access to locally produced, contaminant-free, nutrient-dense food
  • help build and support resilient local and regional food systems and economies
  • provide safe working conditions and living wages for farm workers
Our farm store is open 7 days a week and continues to offer an ever expanding inventory of locally sourced farm and food products including prepared meals and desserts from Machina Arts, Burdick's Restaurant, Dosa Kitchen, Shree's Kitchen and Mayfair Farm. We have a wide selection of meats, vegetables, eggs, milk, cheeses and more. Visit our on-line store for a full list of product. Place your order for curbside pick-up or come in the store one person at a time for no contact shopping. We are here to assist you!
While we won't be opening up our gelato scoop shop like we normally do on Memorial Day Weekend, we are now offering specialty flavors only available in our farm store or through the Frisky Cow Gelato Club. This week's flavors include Double Chocolate Brownie and Japanese Macha. The gelato is made fresh with milk from our farm on-site in our creamery. Our creamery has served as a great incubator space for several dairy value-added processors since its construction. Order
