Democrats spending to Support Proposition HH
Democrats don’t care about the homeowners in Colorado. During the past legislative session they could have easily held the line or provided for a modest increase of property taxes next year. Instead, they offer the bait and switch scheme of referred Proposition HH. The proposition provides minimal relief of property taxes by using TABOR funds. But your property taxes still increase significantly. This is a deceptive scheme that eliminates your TABOR refunds in just three years.

No More Unpledged Republican Colorado Delegates
to 2024 National Convention
The Colorado Republican State Central Committee adopted changes on how delegates are elected to the National Convention next year. Delegates must now declare which presidential candidate they are pledged to support. Delegates are now bound through the second round of balloting at the national convention.
Each candidate for president that receives at 20% of the vote in the primary can nominate their own slate of delegates proportional to the votes they received. If a candidate receives more than fifty percent of the votes in the primary, they are entitled to 60% of their pledged delegates. The state convention is not obligated to elect a given slate but may elect other national delegates based on their pledge.
The Colorado Presidential Primary will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Congressional conventions must be completed at least one day prior to the state convention. The state convention must not be held later than April 13, 2024. The national convention will be held on July 15 – 18, 2024 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Denver Republicans will elect their delegates to the state convention at their county assembly to be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024. The locations of the county assembly, the congressional convention, and the state convention has not been set at this time.
