Dear Mason School of Music Family,
We hope you will join us for an incredible lineup of events in Mason's School of Music, including today's Baroque Dance presentations and tomorrow's Guitar Masterclass with Oscar Ghiglia. Next weekend we are thrilled to present Dr. Yunghae Chun, guest piano artist from Seoul, Korea, in a free recital at Mason on Friday, October 26, at 7:30 pm. We are also very excited about the musical theater production next weekend,
Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
. This is a not-to-be-missed production combining the talents of Mason's School of Theater and School of Music!
We are proud that Mason's School of Music was featured at the College Music Society (CMS) National Conference in Vancouver last weekend. Kudos to Dr. Jesse Guessford and Prof. John Kilkenny who presented new music and to six of our Mason students who performed at this prestigious national CMS conference!
Warm regards,

at the College Music Society National Conference in Vancouver
. They presented the world premiere of "She who is" composed by Dr. Guessford. Our percussionists also had the opportunity to work with Mike Harley, Professor at the University of South Carolina and founding member of
