Dear Mason School of Music Family,
We are thrilled to invite you to an exciting Spring 2019 Series of wonderful musical concerts, lectures, and masterclasses highlighting our amazing faculty and students. Please join us this weekend for the Navy Band performance on Friday night at 7 pm and our
Faculty Artist Series featuring Dr. David Porter, tuba, on Saturday night at 8 pm. Our Global Connections continue with two of our Mason Music ensembles traveling internationally this month. Dr. Stan Engebretson's
SoundCheque Vocal Ensemble is performing in Cologne, Germany this week and Prof. Victor Provost's
Steel Pan Ensemble is performing in Trinidad and Tobago during Carnival. We are very grateful to the University Provost's Office for support of these international cultural experiences for our music students.
We are looking forward to an exciting new event for our School of Music this year:
A Musical Feast Gala celebration on Saturday, May 4th, a benefit for music scholarships. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us!
