Dear Dewberry School of Music Family,

Please join us this Thursday, June 24 at 12.30 pm for Mason's Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble Concert at Reston Town Square Park as part of CVPA's Lunchtime with the Arts Series. What a wonderful series of outdoor concerts we have enjoyed during June!

Congratulations to Dr. Lisa Billingham, our newly appointed Director of Choral Activities at Mason, who will be conducting the University Chorale and the University Singers during the upcoming academic year.  Please join me in congratulating Dr. Billingham on this well-deserved honor.

We are thrilled to present our Fall 2021 School of Music Concert Series on campus with live music and audiences once again. We begin our Fall concert season with the Grand Piano Celebration on September 19 at 3 pm in our Center for the Arts.

We are saddened by the loss of Milt Peterson, a wonderful friend of the university and generous supporter of the arts. We are incredibly grateful for the very generous music scholarship support of Milt, Carolyn, and family through the years. We will always be thankful for Milt and Carolyn's vision and support of the arts, and we offer our heartfelt gratitude for the Peterson Endowment in Vocal Arts. Milt's legacy continues through the lives of the many Mason music students that he has touched so deeply.  Please read Milt's biography and history with Mason here.

With my warmest regards,
Dr. Linda A. Monson, Director
