Dear Brothers,

Personnel

Bro. Andrew Kosmowski has been asked to become a Marianist Specialist. This will assist Bro. Andy tremendously in his role as librarian at NACMS and will also assist the Province in having the next generation of Marianist Specialists. The Provincial Council is in the process of determining another brother to assist with this important role in the future of Marianist life in the United States.

Community Director Appointment

After consultation with the community, Bro. Mark Motz is appointed director of the Holy Rosary Marianist Community. I am thankful to Bro. Mark for his generosity in accepting this role.

Community Visitations 2020-2021

As you know, the General Council is not visiting during this community year, and our world is still not safe for Provincial Council members to travel widely. At the directors' meeting, we asked community directors to be responsible for the annual conversations with each brother in their community. Area Coordinators will visit the directors of the communities in their respective areas.

This Coming Week

  • November 6: RCRI Meeting, virtual
  • November 8: St. Louis Area High Schools Open House

Education and Service - A Lifelong Journey

The Catholic Review in Baltimore, Maryland, published an article that shares the journey of Bro. Frank O’Donnell, who presently serves as a lawyer focusing on support to the poor and vulnerable. Once a principal, his story reminds us that our call to serve and to educate ourselves and others is a lifelong journey. Bro. Frank is one of many brothers in the province who model this commitment throughout their life. Please click here to read Frank’s inspiring story.
