Please pray that a number of our brothers from developing units receive their visas in the next month.
Fr. Chinnaiah Polishety and
Bro. Oscar Kerketta have been accepted to the Institute for Religious Formation in Chicago. Chinnaiah, the current novice director in India, has received his visa; Oscar, director of the District's aspirancy/pre-novitiate program, is still awaiting his.
Indian
Bros. Balaswamy and
George Hans have been accepted at St. Mary's University for the MBA program. Both are preparing for their interviews at the U.S. consulates in Kolkata and Hyderabad for their student visas.
Bros. Thomas Njari and
Julius Maingi, from the Region of Eastern Africa, have been accepted at the University of Dayton for master's degrees in educational leadership and English, respectively. Both are awaiting student visas.
Bro. Juan Pablo Espinoza Chavez will soon be returning to Querétaro, Mexico, and is applying for a religious worker visa. He will be part of the new initiative at Holy Rosary parish in San Antonio and will be serving at Central Catholic High School for the coming year.
And, a special intention for two other Marianists who are also seeking religious worker visas.
Bro. Augustus Surin, who has completed his second term as district superior in India, will enter the Ministry to Ministers program at the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio. He will attend the MLC-NA Assembly in Dayton before going to San Antonio to begin the program. Welcome, Augustus!

Retreat in Mexico
Earlier this month, the brothers in Mexico participated in their annual retreat, which was led by
Bro. Michael McAward, general assistant for temporalities.
