Keller Engineers Out & About

Last month, two members of the Keller Engineers team attended several community events to present their knowledge of the industry to local students and families.

Blair County BASICS/Rotary Career Fair

Water/Wastewater Project Manager, Adam Charles, attended the Blair County BASICS/Rotary Career Fair at the Blair County Convention Center on Wednesday, April 19th. The event, sponsored by Rotary International and the Blair County Chamber of Commerce, featured presentations by area professionals who spoke with local high school sophomore students about their careers. Within eight 20-minute sessions, Adam presented his knowledge and experience as a civil engineer, answered questions, and engaged with each group of up to 15 students. Keller Engineers was honored for the opportunity to interact with local students at this event.

Senator Judy Ward STEM Day for Families

On Saturday, April 22nd, Keller Engineers' Landscape Architect, Adam Long, and his wife Kayleen, participated in STEM Day for Families at Juniata College. The event was organized by Senator Judy Ward in partnership with the Science in Motion Consortium to provide a day of STEM activities for families in the 30th District. Approximately 20 students stopped by the Keller Engineers table to design their own park. Students arranged their favorite sports fields, playgrounds, and courts on a construction paper base map, making sure to include parking and stormwater management ponds. Keller Engineers was proud to sponsor and participate in this one-of-a-kind event!

Discoveries in Nature

Due to the NATURE of the work we do at Keller Engineers, our employees often find themselves working amongst some interesting critters and items. Land Development team members, Haylee Henry and Jordyn Hinkle made some interesting discoveries while performing wetland and stream delineations...
