Village extends business license application deadline to Jan. 31

The Village has extended the deadline to submit a business license application to Friday, Jan. 31.

Applications include a bright-orange contact information form, which you should return with the business license application. Business should return all materials by the end of the month in order to avoid the $50 late fee.

The Village requires that most businesses in Tinley Park have a valid business license. Some business types are regulated by the State of Illinois and are not required to get a business license. If you're unsure if you need a business license or not, or if you didn't receive a renewal and would like to request a copy, please email the Village at licensing@tinleypark.org.

For more information on business licenses, including how to obtain a Change of Use/Owner permit, please visit the Village website.

Help keep Tinley Park safe with the

Fusus Camera Integration Program

I'd like to invite you to participate in the Fusus Camera Integration Program, a security camera-sharing initiative that helps first responders more quickly assess situations, identify potential threats, and ensure the community remains safe.

When you sign up, a Fusus Core device is connected to your camera system. First responders can then use it during an emergency to remotely access your cameras, but only with your permission. The wider the net we can cast over any given situation, the better prepared we can be to analyze and respond to it. I want to stress that we'll only be able to see your camera feed when you explicitly give us permission to see it, and at no other time. You have complete control over our access.

For more information, just fill out the interest form, and someone will reach out to you. The equipment to integrate your camera into the Fusus system is relatively inexpensive and well worth the investment in your community. There are even potential insurance discounts and tax write-offs available for businesses that participate.

Thank you in advance for helping to support an even safer Tinley Park!
