The Village of Tinley Park will join the Village of Orland Park, Orland Township and Cook County Commissioner Sean Morrison in presenting the inaugural Southwest Job Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 at the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 S. Ravinia Ave.

The fair will help bridge the gap between talented job seekers and top-notch companies in Southwest Chicago. The event will include workshops by professional speakers, mock interviews, meet-and-greets with companies, professional headshots and more.

"We are thrilled to co-host the Southwest Job Fair, bringing together job seekers and employers in our vibrant communities," Tinley Park Mayor Michael Glotz said. "This event will serve as a platform for individuals to explore career opportunities, network with industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into the job market."

CDE Collision Center recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new facility at 17500 S. Harlem Ave., Tinley Park. This marks CDE's 14th location in Illinois and Indiana. CDE Collision is a family-owned and operated company offering auto body repair services for vehicles that have been in accidents or experienced body damage.
