In a few short weeks, ghosts and goblins will take over Tinley Park when the Boo Bash returns to Downtown Tinley! Don't miss your chance to become a vendor or sponsor for this family-friendly event that usually draws more than 7,500 people every year.

Boo Bash will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 at the Oak Park Avenue train station. Activities will include trick-or-treating through business booths, DJ entertainment and much more! Food and beverages will be sold. The day will open with a sensory-friendly time with reduced noise levels and a quiet zone.

If you're looking for a great opportunity to market your business to thousands of Tinley Park and south suburban residents this holiday season, consider sponsoring or becoming a vendor at the 17th annual Holiday Market, which will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1; 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2; and 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 in Zabrocki Plaza, 17375 S. Oak Park Avenue.

This much-anticipated weekend attracts approximately 15,000 to 20,000 visitors over the three-day event. Visitors will find gift items from area businesses and artisans, as well as a variety of food and beverage vendors and music provided by local community groups, schools and professional entertainers.

Applications are due Friday, Aug. 18 for the 2023 Cook County Small Business Source Grant, which will award $40 million in grants to thousands of small businesses across Cook County in early 2024, with funds provided by the American Rescue Plan Act.

All businesses located in Cook County with fewer than 20 full-time employees that were in business prior to 2020 are eligible to apply. This opportunity is available for businesses in all sectors.
