First of all, I sincerely wish/PRAY each and every one of you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I do not like Christmas. I love the SAVIOR part, of course, but I dislike the “forced” giving-being EXPECTED to give unnecessary “gifts” to most of us who NEED no gifts given.
I, personally, like most of us, enjoy giving when God directs me to give and the gifts I give mean something to the recipient.
Matthew 6:1-4 (KJV)
1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Nuff said. I do love the season and the extra love-tis a wondrous time of year!!!!
A few nights ago I “heard” the lovely Voice of God speaking to my heart gently in the wee of the night:

The opening stanzas of John Greenleaf Whittier' famous poems says this:
“When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow-
You may succeed with another blow.
Mr. Whittier may say that “life is queer” but may I also add life is hard.......................
And OFTEN, WE-YES, AND YOU-do not/cannot understand the why. PERIOD!!!

Ever since God spoke that to my heart the other night I have struggled to “UNDERSTAND.”
In a vicious and WICKED world there is no “sense?????”
We watch as THIS world spins out of common sense solutions-an endless wolrd of hate and greed and wonder “Why can't we all just get along?????”
AMEN!!??
WHY cannot we live in a world described by Solomon:

This ministry and my words travel worldwide!! I am NOT speaking to any that suffer needs but to those of us who live far above COVENIENCE.
Please allow me to 'splain in a simple analogy:
I have three guitars-nice, expensive guitars. I do NOT need another guitar or a better guitar!!!! I probably should just learn to play the ones I already got!!! SMILE!!
Another guitar will not make me a better guitar player.

My wife and family get a kick out of me every Christmas! They WELL KNOW my answer when inquired as to what do I want for Christmas!!!!
My reply is simple.
“NOTHING!! IF I want or need something I will simply drive to Walmart and buy it.”
AND every Christmas I will sit in my chair and complain loudly that “I didn't get nothing@@@!!!???”
