August 2018  Edition

Dear Beloved,

This is the time when we reach out to all our faithful readers and share some of what has been going on. This has been a month of mixed blessings. We started the month with the wedding of our Administrative Manager, Tayo Babalola who got married to Dolapo Owolabi. The next day at the birthday celebration of Mr Bajomo, we hosted Apostle Tomi Arayomi who was in town for a Lagos Prophetic conference.

It was a real fun evening with a prophetic twist.

The following week we had the shock news of the passing into glory of a mighty general in our midst, Peace Emem - Newsong.

We are thankful for the abundant grace the Holy Spirit is making available to Pelumi, the wife, the immediate family, and all his numerous friends and well-wishers.

The Lapis healing workshop that is running over four weeks is in full swing. There are some pics at the bottom of this newsletter.

All our other features are included in this newsletter as well.

Enjoy.

Nothing can separate us from God's Love . . .

Life as we know it is full of surprises, mysteries, adventures, challenges  or the unexpected. It doesn't really matter what you may want to call it. It is about the fact that we are not all- knowing so we don't know what lies around the next turn that we may have to cope with. We aren't asked if we would like a surprise or mystery as we take the next turn. It is usually just thrust upon us and we have to sink or survive.

The good news, however is that the One who knows what is around the next turn loves us, and wants to be known intimately by us. So if we know him, we don't have to be afraid of what lies around the next turn.

Here again, it's often good to take stock of what we have been given. Paul in 1 Corinthians 13v 8-9 in speaking about how reliable and permanent love is, compares love with prophecy and tells us that our knowledge is partial and incomplete. He goes on to say that only a part of the whole picture is released to us. Paul is saying here that we will get full understanding when we see Christ face to face. In the meantime, as we hold the prophecies that encourage and build us up, we can focus and concentrate on loving the One who knows it all, who desires to be involved in every area of our lives, and who desires our love. This is because He has the complete picture, and nothing takes Him by surprise.

Through out the Bible, we read about the Mighty arm of God. This speaks to us directly about the power of God.

Isaiah 52; 10...The Lord has bared His Holy arm in the sight of all the nations, that all the ends of the earth may see the salvation of our God.

Luke 1; 51 " He has done great mighty deeds with  His Arm; He has scattered those who were proud in the thoughts of their heart.

We are assured of the strength of our great and mighty God in these passages. There is no doubt that He is able to defend and protect us completely. Paul shows how surrendered he is to the Lord's will that whether he lives or dies, his greatest desire was to bring honour to God. His whole purpose was to speak out boldly for Christ and become more like Him. He knew that if he was absent from here, he would be present with Christ, the lover of his soul. (Philippians 1 v22)

None of what has been written is to deny the pain of the loss of a dear one. None of this is to trivialise the sufferings the person's sudden departure brings. It's sometimes almost impossible to imagine how the void the person's sudden departure causes could ever be filled. There really are no easy answers. However as a believer, we are not left to cope with the unexpected or mysterious with our own human resources. Definitely not. We are invited into a place of comfort by the Holy Spirit who is our Comforter. In this place of comfort, we are reminded of the love our Good Shepherd, Jesus, had for us, that He would go to the cross for us. We are reminded in Romans 8 v 24-27 of the eternal nature of our salvation to encourage us to have confidence in God's perfect timing and wisdom.

Paul then goes on to give us some assurances that nothing could ever separate us from the love of God. He tells us that no matter how bad the calamity, there is an overwhelming victory that is ours through Christ who loves us. He goes on to say that calamities such as death nor life, angels nor demons, fears for today, and our worries for tomorrow and not even the powers of hell, or power in the sky above or in the earth below, or nothing in all creation, could ever separate us from the love of God, that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. ( Romans 37-39).

I prayer that the extravagant Love of God will overwhelm our hearts and draw us into a deeper understanding and appreciation of how much we are loved and adored by our Lord God,Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

I pray that we will be held in the comfort and security of His love.

In Jesus's Name. Amen.

Mina.

Testimonies from the ongoing Healing workshop
  1. I was diagnosed of right knee pain. I got this pain from a bad fall and I have been experiencing this for 5 years now. I had to stop running though I love to run. After Prayers, I heard a crack. When I raise my leg the pain was gone.

Also during the class, we were asked to ask the Lord for something, He told me I don't dance like I used to do. When I was being prayed for, the gentleman started by saying the Lord desires you to dance more, jump up and around. Praise God! Mrs Remi

  2. I was diagnosed of acute malaria and I had some difficulty in breathing for 1 week. On day 1 of the Healing Workshop, I received prayers for my lungs and respiratory track, instantly I felt the tightness go down and I began to sweat. I received my healing. Mrs Maya

  3. I was diagnosed of malaria and typhoid for over a week. After prayers, I felt refreshed and relieved. I'm no longer on medications again. Praise God! Mr Olumide
