Inclement Weather Forecasted

Important notice for all Botanic Group residents:

Inclement weather is expected to impact Massachusetts in the upcoming days as a result of Hurricane Lee traveling through the Atlantic.

While the forecast is constantly changing, please be advised that heavy winds (as high as 30-40 mph) and heavy rain are projected to begin as soon as Friday evening, with the bulk of the storm impacts being felt over the weekend.

Safety precautions to consider

► Keep all windows closed and secured.



► Make sure any loose objects are taken in off your balcony or patio, if applicable.

► Report all facility related damage and emergencies immediately to the Management Office.

► Register for Harvard University emergency alerts through MessageME.

► Have a flashlight available in case of power loss.

► Charge all portable electronics/rechargeable batteries before the storm hits in case power is lost.

► Keep informed: Listen to the news and have a portable battery powered radio available in case of a power loss.

Please be advised that any work orders submitted online or via e-mails and phone calls that are not emergencies will not be responded to until after the storm has subsided.
