You can expect to receive your next renewal notice email and text message on the same timeline you normally receive it, and then once per year after that. Please make sure you have all required documentation when you reapply – all information and documentation is listed at the start of the online application.
Reminders
- Renewal applications are processed in the order they are received and can take up to three months to process. With the change in frequency, stipends are expected to be awarded every 12 months, but timing is not guaranteed.
- Always review your application and all required materials before submitting. This helps us keep the process moving along efficiently.
- Please make sure you review all communications you receive from REWARD and WECA through email, text message, and voicemail. It’s important to check that emails from WECA’s system are coming into your inbox and are not being sent to your spam/junk folder.
Application Documentation Update
Note: The REWARD program soon will require a completed W-9 form at the time of each application and renewal to ensure compliance with Internal Revenue Service requirements. There will be a note on the application when this new requirement begins.
