The Delta Stewardship Council’s monthly meetings are the definitive place for the public to learn about and comment on the implementation of the Delta Plan.

At its March 26, 2026, meeting, the Council heard presentations from:

• The California Department of Food and Agriculture on how the Healthy Soils Program can help in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in California’s Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.
• The DWR on recent legislative updates to the California Water Plan, the state’s long-term strategy for managing, protecting, and using its water.
• Delta Science Program staff and a panel of experts on a collaboration that led to the development of the first high-quality elevation map of the entire San Francisco Estuary.
• Council staff on a recently launched interactive tool – the online Delta atlas – described in a new blog titled, “Mapping the Delta, Made Simple.”
