Delta Independent Science Board Meeting

On August 11, the Delta ISB will meet at 9:00 AM to discuss its reviews and activities, including its review of the draft Environmental Impact Report for the Delta Conveyance Project. These discussions will help inform the Board’s work plan over the next year. In addition, Delta Stewardship Council staff will provide an overview of the Council’s adopted Ecosystem Amendment, consisting of revisions to Delta Plan Chapter 4 (Protect, Restore, and Enhance the Delta Ecosystem).

On August 12, the meeting will resume at 9:00 AM with a tour of the (1) State Water Project’s Harvey O. Banks Pumping Plant and John E. Skinner Delta Fish Protective Facility, (2) the UC Davis Fish Conservation and Culture Laboratory, and (3) the Central Valley Project’s Tracy Fish Collection Facility. A draft agenda for the tour was released and reservations opened prior to the release of the meeting notice on June 28. The tour is at capacity at these facilities, but the public can still attend without a reservation during agenda items 1 to 2 (Welcome and Declarations and Public Comments) and agenda items 13 to 14 (Discussion of Delta Tour).
